I am continuing with the last month's article on "Inauspicious days in 2008". Every year due to the position of the stars certain days are inauspicious for any kind of endeavors. It is important to avoid any form of important official, business or personal activity on these particular days.

In this month's article you will know about days to avoid medical procedure, travel, open up new business etc. These days are known as "Three killing days", donot get terrified by the name as it is a direct translation of its Chinese name, san sha.

Understanding "Three killing days" (san sha)
There are three kinds of san sha's - Robbery sha days, calamity sha days and annual sha days.

(1) Robbery sha days
As the name indicates these are days when you may get robbed easily especially while traveling. It also indicates problems while traveling or losing your baggage while traveling or losing important documents/items while traveling. Have you ever lost your baggage while traveling or misplaced your important documents or left your cell phone behind in the cab? Chances are high this incident would have occurred on a robbery sha day.

Dealing with robbery sha days
Since robbery sha days indicate problems while traveling, avoid scheduling any work related or personal traveling plans on such days. Be careful with your personal belongings especially while traveling.

(2) Calamity sha days
These days are related to injuries, illness or physical harm. It also indicates relationship problems and problems with the opposite sex. During these days you may hear reports of rape, murder due to illicit relationships, physical abuse of spouse etc.

Dealing with calamity sha days
Since calamity sha days indicate injuries etc, it is best to avoid any form of medical surgeries or invasive diagnostic procedures during this day. On a more personal note avoid scheduling new romantic rendezvous especially blind dates on such days.

(3) Annual sha days
These days are related to procrastination, unexpected delays and obstacles. The annual sha days bring in 'slowness' in people and things just donot seem to move in the pace they ought to.

Dealing with annual sha days
Since annual sha days indicate procrastination and unexpected delays, it is best to avoid any form of activity that requires quick processing for e.g. you require a personal loan within the next 5 days then it would be wise to avoid the annual sha days for submitting your documents. Avoid starting new projects on such days as it will be slow to finish. Don't deal in property on such days.
