Every year due to the position of the annual stars certain days are considered inauspicious for any kind of endeavors. At the end of the article I have provided a list of dates which are inauspicious in the year of the rat.
It is important to avoid any form of important official, business or personal activity on these particular days.
Year breaker days
These are days which are in direct confrontation with the annual Chinese animal sign. For e.g. in the year of the earth rat, the Chinese animal sign in direct confrontation is horse.
Generally it is advisable not to start any long term venture during these days. Avoid opening new business, launching new products, getting married, getting engaged and signing important contracts.
If you are getting married on a year breaker day you will run into marital problems ranging from a nagging wife or worse a domineering mother in law, interfering parents in law, third party intervention, communication problems with your spouse and the list is endless.
In my own personal experience I have found that on the year breaker days you can expect your plans to be disrupted, unexpected obstacles to crop up and last minute changes to happen.
Month breaker days
These are days which are in direct confrontation with the monthly Chinese animal sign. For e.g. in the month of the tiger, the Chinese animal sign in direct confrontation is monkey.
Generally it is advisable not to start any venture during these days. Since these are month breaker days you will feel the brunt of it faster. Avoid getting married, moving house, signing important contracts, scheduling opening of new business, launching of new products, renovations or construction.
If you intend to start a new business on a month breaker day chances are high it will not take off or you will run into financial problems due to which you will have to close the business down.
If you start your construction work on this particular day chances are high you will run into different kinds of problems – labor management issues, wrong plans, delay in delivery from different suppliers and delay in completion of project due to unavoidable problems.
In my own personal experience, month breaker days are days when appointments get cancelled or rescheduled, things donot work as they have been planned and definitely obstacles in all that you plan to do for the day.
Dealing with year breaker and month breaker day
Wouldn’t it be great if you could tell your boss that it is the year breaker day and you cannot work? If only life would be so simple.
The best way I have found to deal with these inauspicious days is not to plan any major events or ventures on this day this includes opening bank accounts, applying for loan, talking to boss regarding pay raise, starting a new job, starting school for your children, starting anything new, talking to spouse regarding relationship issues (unless you are looking for a divorce), making financial investments, starting a legal procedure.
