Last month I had written about how to match your business to the building. This can be extremely helpful while selecting a property to conduct business. In this month's article I will be writing about the main door. You will require the floor plan of the house and the measurements you had taken in the previous article.

General tips for main door
In certain cases you have two doors especially when you have a business running inside a shopping mall. The first door is the main door for the mall and the second is your own shop's/business/store's main door. Both doors are equally important for you to run a successful business.

The main door is the 'mouth' of the house therefore it is important to check the quality of qi entering through the main door. For e.g. if we eat bad things then we are liable to suffer from indigestion similarly if the qi entering through the main door is harmful then the whole building will suffer.
1) Main doors should not be located in constricted areas like corridors or side alleys.
2) Main doors should not be located under the staircase.
3) Main doors should not directly open to a staircase or a long corridor.
4) Main doors should preferably open to an open space that allows easy circulation of qi.
5) No external sha qi - transformers, pylons, straight roads etc should be located in the vicinity of the main door.

Applying bazhai to the main door
Remember the compass measurements you had taken in the previous article. Now you will require the measurements to know the house sitting location. Incase you are still confused regarding the building facing and sitting location click here , to know how to take measurements click here.

E.g. For house sitting South (172.5 - 217.5 degrees) rooms located in east, southeast, north and south area are auspicious.

Different auspicious areas have different purposes. For better understanding I have written a few lines on each of them.
A1 - Sheng qi - Sheng qi basically indicates life giving force. Main door located in this area brings in wealth luck, authority and business success. It generally indicates success for entrepreneurs and business houses.

A2 - Tien Yi - Tien Yi means heavenly or celestial doctor. Doctor's chambers, healers, pharmacy's, medicine shop's will benefit from having their main doors located in this area. Other shops and stores having their main doors in this area will have wealth success. Your firm or business will have a good reputation.

A3 - Yen Nien - Yen Nien means longevity. Public relation offices, business centre's, marketing offices, MLM businesses, marriage counselors, human resource development centers will benefit from having their main doors located in this area. Businesses that have a huge client base and are required to maintain personal relations with the clients will also benefit from having their main doors located in this area.

A4- Fu wei -Fu wei means lying down position. Research and development offices, schools, colleges, preparatory schools, crèches, analysts will benefit from having their main doors located in this area.

Next month inauspicious locations.
